Freaky Beak Zeke is a DNA sexed male Lilac Crowned Amazon. He is five years old and a gentle cuddly parrot. He is skittish with hands that approach from his right side, and somewhat aggressive with males, especially Kevin. We are working on these issues but feel there be links to his rough past. Zeke was abandoned in a cheap motel where he lived until the bird sitter hired to take care of him sold him to me.He was extremely shy and afraid of hands. He is banded with a date of March 1997. He is a good talker and only says happy things now, like "Freaky Beak is a Good Bird" and "I love you, do you love me?" and "Step Up and Go Poop!" Whne he first came to us he said "Nooooo!" and "Don't hit me!".We haven't heard those phrases in a long time and we are glad. Click on the thumbnails to see the larger picture.
