Boston was our first national level amateur contest. Kevin had a great time and finished 7th overall in the men's heavyweights. Charlie tied for 6th place in the Pros. Paul came in 14th overall in the men's heavyweights. We learned a lot this weekend, especially how fun a helium tank can be at 11:00pm in a restaurant after a comp. We spent a lot of time together this weekend, lifting, sweating, laughing. We bonded with good friends and made new ones.
Kevin has his own fan club, apparently kids and Shriners love him! Charlie, Paul and Kevin really showed what West Coast training is all about. Cali boys don't just lay around in the sun. Almost all the competitors were very supportive of each other. The camaraderie was palpable.
