Click on the thumbnails to see the larger picture. The Painted Desert and Petrified Forest on our New Mexico/Arizona trip was beautiful. We even found a macaw petroglyph and Kevin found lots of heavy stuff to lift. The petrified wood was extremely dense and fragile, so Kevin had to replace it very carefully, so as not to crack or damage it in any way. No banging the weights down in a National Forest. Lifting benches in Santa Ana Zoo's Aviary was fun too! |
